Recycling Clothes Company Ltd is extremely proud to support Against Breast Cancer in their crusade to fund research into a vaccine against Breast Cancer.

We all seem to know people who have had breast cancer these days – in fact 1 in 8 women in the UK will be diagnosed with the disease at some point in their life. However, the women whose lives it claims usually die not from the breast cancer but from the spread of the disease to other parts of the body.

Our research is targeted at these patients. Firstly, we are researching a blood test that will identify breast cancer recurrence earlier – and therefore enable it to be treated earlier, faster and more effectively. Secondly, our Diet and Lifestyle study involving over 3,300 women in 57 hospitals across the UK will identify ways in which patients who have had breast cancer can help protect themselves from recurrence. Ultimately, our goal is to discover a vaccine against breast cancer.

Recycling Clothes Company Ltd will donate a minimum of £100 (including VAT) to Against Breast Cancer for every tonne of textiles collected from you
